    There are some days, and some records, where you listen to them once and immediately after you don’t want to hear anything else other than the start of that record again. Or, for me today, I’d listen to something else but still have the first record stuck in my head and then come right back to it.

    (As a side-note, I’m a big last.fm user, even though their application hasn’t been recording plays from my phone in a while. So at the end of every day, I make a playlist of what I listened to that day, and have iTunes play it with the volume all the way down. Point being: I am listening to this album again right now, because it happens to be playing anyway.)

    So: Lemuria’s “Get Better”. I’ve been trying to figure out how to describe this band, and really, they’re more or less a pop-punk band. Except you’d be forgiven for thinking of bands that aren’t very good and don’t actually sound much like this when I say “pop-punk”. Either way, this album came out on Asian Man, which makes a certain amount of sense. But really: such a good record. Wow.
